Video simulation of a rat's visual umwelt, or subjective experience of the world. By applying research on the current neuroscientific and physiological understanding of rats’ eyes, the video was modified in post-production to simulate rats’ retinal light receptors, spectral sensitivity, focal depth, and anatomical positioning.
